This week, Makers Academy Member Maci completed her ocean sweatshirt project and it looks incredible.
She said: "I’M FINALLY FINISHED 🎉 Lol I felt this sweatshirt took forever, but it was a crazy labor of love ❤️
When my daughter came to me with this ocean themed sweatshirt, I sort of panicked because I had only been embroidering for a few months and had never taken on anything this large. She created the whole design and drew all the animals, “all I had to do was stitch!”.
She was my biggest cheerleader (and a lot of y’all with all my questions and your suggestions!) and I couldn’t be more proud of myself for this huge accomplishment 💙❤️ "

I am so excited to be giving this weekly update as Matt and Julie and family have officially set off on their European adventure. After how hard Julie worked to get all her projects over the line, she's earned every second of rest!
Even with a cold slowing me down, it's been a busy week behind the scenes. I've been filming video experiences for some festive kitchen towels and our Halloween trick-or-treat bags. Plus one of our advent calendars arrived at my door yesterday, and I can't wait to unbox it and see all that hard work come together on camera!
Meanwhile, Jaycee has been hard at work filming video experiences for our new Halloween patterns and kits. Lots of exciting content on the way — stay tuned!
