Of course there is a driving range at Lake Powell. At least a homemade one.

Clark the slalom maniac!!

How lucky are we that we got to go to Lake Powell twice!!! It was amazing to have all of the Bruderers together again after being separated by school, work, and what not. We soaked up every minute we could. Ben met Uncle Thom and Davis for the first time and were instant friends. I loved having so many aunts and uncles and grandma and grandpa there to play with Ben. I got a really nice break! The most notable adventures of the trip were the first and second night of the trip. Scott and I brought a tent to set up on the roof so that Ben and I could have some privacy during night feedings. Well the first night Scott got really hot so he unzipped the front of the tent. Later that night we heard something hitting the tent. I quickly realized that we had company with us in the tent! A bat had found its way in!! Great. Ben had just barely gone back to sleep so I was trying to keep Scott from panicking too loudly. We rushed out of the tent and Scott went to get his dad for reinforcements. Clark grumbled, "So take care of it" and went back to sleep. Scott went back in to find the flashlight and grabbed Ben's binki and thinking it was the bat he screamed and refused to go back in. So we slept out with everyone else. Night two: Ben and I are zipped in the tent. Ben wakes up to eat I feed him and then he has a royal freakout. I unzip the tent and crawl out for some fresh air and help from Scott. I hand Ben to Scott and then Scott grabs his neck and screams in pain and throws Ben back to me. Scott had just been bitten by some weird bug. Again he goes to Clark for help. Clark grumbles "You did not get bit." Upon protest Clark and Jason come over to investigate and find some funky bug that won't die. They eventually killed it and went back to bed. We slept inside the houseboat the rest of the trip after a few hints from the local wildlife.
