Introducing Bess Wilkins -  our newest team member! We're SO excited that Bess has joined the Clever Poppy team, as our new 'Embroidery Video Content Creator'. She's going to be helping Julie on the creative side, and with teaching video lessons - so we can make your experience with learning embroidery and stitching our patterns even more amazing!   She is a super experienced and talented embroidery artist, who has been teaching embroidery and designing beautiful patterns of her own for quite some time with her business 'Life with Bess'. You can check her website here.    We know lots of our members have stitched up some of her gorgeous patterns, as we have seen some beautiful examples pop up in our members FB group - like her Christmas advent calendar.   Bess lives in the Brisbane, Australia with her two cute Border Collie's (Aurora and Wren) and her husband Jake. As I was stitching my first tree to add to my home my bestie was over and fell in love with this pattern.  How could I not make one for her.  I chose her favourite colours and changed up the basket to practice my weaving stitch, I love the outcome. Here are some entries from our community: LEARN MORE What I'm Working On Woo hoo we're into December, where all things festive and fun happen! It's going to be a busy time, and here in New Zealand we're heading into sunnier weather (yay!). I do also realise this time of year can be stressful, so please make sure you're putting up boundaries around how much you take on, and building in some down-time into your schedule. Easier said than done right?   On the work front, I'm focused on patterns for the new year. I'm working closely with Bess on the design and stitch-ups, and I can't say enough how much I'm loving having her in my creative department! So here's a big shout out to Bess, we're so very lucky she has joined our Clever Poppy team.   I thought you might like a sneak peek of upcoming designs, so here's a little snapshot below.   I'd also like to say another massive THANK YOU for all of your orders over the Black Friday period.
