This week we've been planning patterns for 2026 - so exciting! Our research and customer feedback kept coming back to two things: cute animals and seasonal designs. Thats right up our alley, and we're happy to oblige! I even spent this morning adding a tiny robin (in a beanie and scarf of course) nto a new winter mandala pattern. You're going to love it! On a personal note: I've fallen hard for jigsaws. Who would have thought? For ages my evenings were all stitching and content deadlines - I love embroidery, but it was still 'work'.
Now that I've got a brilliant team helping out, I finally have space to breathe and try new things in my spare time - and jigsaws have been such a lovely, calm distraction. I've been pondering why on earth it is so satisfying to fit little pieces into a pattern, only to dismantle it afterwards…?
I think it reinforces what we believe here at Clever Poppy: the creative process, the mindfulness, and the switch-off are the best parts. The finished piece is just a lovely bonus. Hope you find a little time this week to do something just for fun too! |
