Benjamin officially turned 1 year old on March 3rd, 2009, but we had his cookie monster birthday party on March 8th. Ben was in heaven. Thanks to his grandmother he had over 7 different kinds of cookies to choose from. He sample two cookies before his party even got started. We had pizza for the main course, also a Benjamin favorite. He was spoiled rotten by everyone. He quadrupled the amount of toys he has in one day. Thank you to everyone! In line with Bruderer family tradition Ben got to wreck havoc on his very own cake on his big day. At one point there were 11 cameras on the poor kid! Afterward he left a chocolate bathtub ring in his grandmother's clean bathtub! As a present to his mother, he fell asleep on me after the party. It is my favorite thing in the world to hold him while he sleeps! Love you big boy!
