 Ben has had his "Bit" since the day he was born. Uncle Erik gave it to him. He has been Ben's constant companion for 3 and a half years. He adores him. He brings him everywhere. Sadly, the original Bit was lost on our trip to California. We had a backup for such an emergency, but he knew the difference. How did he know? Aside from the new one being astronomically cleaner. . .

 It didn't pass the face test. Ben has always rubbed his bit on his face like this. This is the first time I have snagged a shot of it. Fortunately, the new Bit has been accepted and loved just as the first one.

 There was a huge blessing to losing Bit. Coley got Penguin (no name yet). If we hadn't lost Bit, Aunt Kiersten might not have sent us Penguin with another backup Bit. Cole loves his Penguin. He always snuggles him to his face with one hand, while grabbing his beak with the other. So dang cute.

Hooray for lovies! And Hooray for Aunts and Uncles who love my boys so much!
