Welcome to December! I am so excited to reveal our new pattern to celebrate the last month of the year, so let's dive into it... Introducing... Say hello to our new pattern for December - Floral Frame!   This lovely frame is perfect for displaying your cherished memories in - ideal for a 3" x 3" photo or picture.    This pattern is suited for Excited Newbies + and is the perfect introduction to embroidery. It's also a great way to practice a range of beginner friendly techniques.    The Floral Frame Beginner Kit is now available to purchase in our online shop. It includes the printed pattern guide, a piece of 100% cotton fabric, wooden display hoop, scissors, threads, transfer pen, a pack of needles AND access to our online video experience with step-by-step instructions. Our 'Beginner's Guide for Embroidery onto Clothing' is a great way to learn all about the process of stitching onto clothing (and accessories). What's inspiring me on the creative front... Since we are on the theme of embroidery onto clothing, I thought I'd share this beautiful floral embroidered winter coat by embroidery artist Jenny of @flynn_and_mabel. I have been following Jenny and her inspiring designs for awhile now, and I would say she is definitely the queen of embroidery onto clothing! Her style is all about stitching fun and floral designs onto the likes of denim, canvas shoes, hats, bags, even phone cases! I reckon she could literally stitch onto anything hehe. This post from @amyweatherly popped up on my feed recently and it was a great reminder coming into gift buying season. In this day and age, it can be so easy for parents to get caught up and feel pressured to have all the latest and greatest gadgets for your kids. The words in this post really puts things into perspective and makes you realise what's really important. With the cost of living having risen so much in the last couple of years, I think it's way better to embrace making memories for your kids instead of worrying about the material things!   In our world... Thanks so much to everyone who shopped our Black Friday sale! We love how you support businesses like ours, and truly appreciate your orders. It makes me smile when I think about how much joy all of these kits and supplies will bring over the coming months.   Over the weekend, Piper had a dance production which we all went to watch. She was an Oompa Loompa in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – believe me the cuteness levels were sky high!    We have so many cool things happening behind the scenes here at Clever Poppy, I can't wait to reveal more soon.
