Clever Poppy Maker Spotlight

This week, Maker's Academy member Michelle blew us away with her finished Spring Meadows piece.

She shared: "My goal when starting the academy and my embroidery journey was to complete this piece. Spring Meadows. So here she is in all her glory. This was such a lovely piece to embroider. I wanted to be confident in my skills before tackling the task to show respect for this gorgeous pattern. Embroidery has given me such calm and me time each day I stitch. I have not only learnt a new skill but also how to slow down and be present in the moment. I love this piece. I switched up the clouds using French knots."

In Our World

You know how some weeks you feel like you achieve a lot, and some you wonder what you even ticked off? Well I've had one of the latter weeks! There is so much cool stuff going on behind the scenes at Clever Poppy, so I've been keeping lots of projects moving, and helping our awesome team with their tasks.

On the creative side of things, we're working on some awesome new tutorials to support those of you who are using our wash-away embroidery stickers to stitch on clothing and accessories. Plus dreaming up some cute embroidery designs that suit little kids who like dinosaurs, trucks and the seaside. Stay tuned for which become patterns!
