What a busy time we're having here at Clever Poppy! It's all hands on deck to get our festive kits ready to hit the shelves in time for Christmas crafting. Plus this week I've been focused on creating our upcoming member's pattern - a beautiful autumn themed mandala. With a cute wee deer in the middle! On the team front, I want to do a massive shout out to our community manager Amy. She just completed a 24 week transformation challenge, where she got super fit and healthy. And over the weekend she went and won the whole thing! Seeing her commitment, ambition and positive attitude has been amazing - all while juggling a young family. We are all so proud of you Amy! Another super meaningful part of my weekend that I wanted to share, was attending New Zealand's biggest ever protest for Palestine, where we marched for humanity and called for sanctions against Israel. It's hard to even find words to describe how completely and utterly appalled I am, to see how the world has accepted and normalised the horrors being inflicted on Palestinians in Gaza and the occupied West Bank. So it felt really good to march, call for our nation to uphold international law, and be surrounded by tens of thousands of people who feel the same. Every voice counts. Ok that's all from me, I hope you all have a wonderful week, and treasure the small things. | | | | |
