Hey, it's Julie here,

Have you ever stitched a Buttonhole Wheel?

This technique is a great way to create a circular design for flowers, wheels and other abstract shapes in your embroidery patterns. It's so much fun to stitch!

And you can check out how to stitch one on my blog:

One of my more popular patterns that uses this technique is the Gardening Bee - see how the barrow's wheel is created with the Buttonhole Wheel Stitch?  A lot of our our members are planning to stitch this pattern as a gift for this coming Mother's Day.

If you're looking for a gift idea for a special mother in your life this coming Mother's Day, then check out our shop.

We have dozens of patterns available inside the Clever Poppy Shop like the Gardening Bee either as a Digital Pattern or as a Pattern Kit.

Happy stitching!

Julie xx.
