This is also a great filler stitch for clothing, baskets, and things with a lovely woven texture!   Learn how to do this stitch in this video. GO TO THE VIDEO  What have our makers been up to?  Talented member Sarah has adapted our Floral Frame pattern to fit a bigger photo, what a great idea! 🌸 She says, "Finished my adapted Floral Frame pattern ready for my Mum's 70th birthday. I adapted the pattern to fit a 6x4" photo. It'll be the first time in a few years since the whole family will be together so will get a new group photo to go in the middle." How clever is she? ❤  What's inspiring me on the creative front... German-born artist Anna @annalovespottery spends her days creating gorgeous small-batch clay bowls in her studio in London. We love the shape of her swirl bowls, they are super unique! Anna is also a trained architect and architectural historian. Take a look at her other beautiful creations here. Mini Mushroom Caprese bites I'm obsessed with these Mini Mushroom Caprese bites by @northwoodsfolk. Wouldn't they make such a lovely addition to a platter or even your children's meals? Watch this video to learn how to make your own. In our world... We're back into the school routine! This term, we've dropped one of our after-school activities, because the weekdays can fill up so fast and life becomes really hectic. So I'm working on that balance, hopefully we nail it, hehe.   On the Clever Poppy front, we've really enjoyed bringing back kits for some of our more experienced patterns. The Gardening Bee has been a hit (as we knew it would be in the lead-up to Mother's Day!), and we know Floral Rainbow Sampler will be a firm fav. It's a great way to practice your embroidery techniques and perhaps learn a new one or two.   I'm also working on a guest pattern that features chickens… due to popular demand.
