Makers Academy Spotlight This week, Makers Academy member Michelle R. shared her own version of our Flora the Cat pattern with her English bulldog, Alfred. She said: "Embroidery newbie here 👋 I started my first Clever Poppy kit a little over a month ago and fell in love with embroidery ❤️ I finished my fifth pattern today. I wanted to make the flowers in the Flora the Cat pattern, but changed the face to my English bulldog's. I decided to leave his black eye patch as an outline instead of a filled area so it wouldn't overwhelm the flowers, but I'm curious if/how more experienced makers would fill in that area. In Our World This week we've been diving into the wonderful world of Winnie the Pooh. I've been pouring over the books, and it really is such a special, nostalgic little world, isn't it? We were originally planning to release just one pattern, but the response to our early ideas was so positive that we decided to create two designs instead. One features Pooh wandering through the Hundred Acre Wood, and the other shows him with his much-loved hunny pot. If you're a Pooh fan, keep an eye out - they'll be launching in a few months.   I've also been busy sourcing some gorgeous little gifts that will feature in our Advent Calendar. I'll keep the details a surprise for now, but I can say they'll be seriously levelling up your embroidery storage solutions.   Happy stitching everyone! 🧵✨
