Helpful Highlights This week, our Embroidery for Beginners Facebook group has been buzzing with creativity. Here are some of the highlights: What do you do with your leftover strands while you're mid-project? New stitcher Lori asked the group and the answers were interesting. Read them here. Fatima posted that she needed help to fix her project and our community came to the rescue with suggestions. Check it out here. Anna blew us away with her autumn version of The Treehouse with stunning warm colors. Get inspired here. Renata shared her handy invention to sort different sized needles. Take a look here. Makers Academy Spotlight This week, Makers Academy Member Michelle shared her finished Festive Felt Ornaments, using her own color combinations & special details! 🎄 She said: "Xmas decorations completed today. I went  with colours I had on hand. I started with the pattern design then just added to each decoration freehand. A fun project although a little fiddly at times. They are far from perfect but once hung on the tree with all the other sparkly decorations no one will notice." JOIN THE MAKERS ACADEMY

In Our World This week I've been filming video tutorials for our ‘In the Garden’ sticker pack alongside Jaycee - think rabbits, a watering can, a wheelbarrow full of vegetables, a hen... all the charm of a cottage garden to stitch. And I can't quite believe that this week our entire Easter kit suite went into production. We are more organised than we've ever been and honestly it feels amazing! 🌱 The range includes some In the Garden kits, plus a rabbit veggie patch hoop, and a garden bunny kitchen towel. It’s all very colorful and cute. Behind the scenes, Amy has been helping me with a big packaging refresh for some of our most popular kits - more on that soon! And it's school holidays here in New Zealand, so I've been juggling work with family time. The weather has been gorgeous and I've been making the most of it - planting flowers in the garden with some visiting friends who actually know what they're doing (which I don’t!). So now I have months ahead of looking out at colorful flowers - perfect for embroidery inspo!  🌸 Have a wonderful week and happy stitching! 🪡✨
