New pattern: Rosie the Rabbit!

I know you guys loved the sneak peeks I shared of this design, so drumroll please... say hello to our new Rosie the Rabbit beginner kit! This bunny design features starter embroidery techniques such as lazy daisy, woven roses, and French knots.

And the cool thing is – the kit includes access to an epic step-by-step video experience. So you can rest assured that even if you're totally new, I'll help you learn embroidery and make your own Rosie the Rabbit.

I just know stitching this pattern will make you so hoppy (hehe) and it will be so fun to see it hung on the wall. Or you could gift it to a bunny-loving friend (if you could bear to part with this cutie).

Shop this kit while we still have some in stock!

Introducing...

Meet the February pattern which just dropped in our member's library, The Glasshouse!

This advanced pattern is perfect for those of you who are looking to put together all your learnings to make something beautiful and more complex. I'll be honest, it's one of my fav patterns to date and I've already had loads of messages about it!

This pattern is suited for Super Confident Makers + and is really great for practicing a range of embroidery techniques.

This Glasshouse pattern is available in our membership, The Maker's Academy.

Learn how to do left-handed French knots

Our customer service rep, the lovely Lauren, has had a few questions recently about whether our kits are friendly for left-handed peeps.

The answer is yes! Just make sure you rotate your hoop or work the techniques in a direction that feels comfortable for you.

The one technique where it might be a bit tricky is a French knot. So we're shared how to do a left-handed french knot here!

What have our makers been up to?

We love the colour scheme in this Blooming Lovely pattern by talented member, Jessica. You can't beat pink and baby blue! 🌸💕

"My version of the "Blooming Lovely" pattern, with blues and pinks! This was my second-ever piece and I had such a good time doing it!"

Yay, we are so glad to hear that Jessica had a fun time and she should be so proud of herself, it looks gorgeous! 🥰

What's inspiring me on the creative front...

Wow, imagine getting one of these gorgeous floral bouquets by @september___studio. We'd be over the moon! They use such vibrant flowers with beautiful shapes and colours that make every bouquet so unique and magical. This Sydney-based business creates thoughtful bouquets with seasonal flowers, perfect for any occasion. Plus, they only source their flowers from local and ethical growers. Check out their page for more inspo for your own flower arrangements.

3 Ingredient homemade froyo

Our team member, Lauren, recently saw this 3 ingredient homemade mango froyo by @themediterraneandiet_us and immediately saved the recipe. We agree, it looks delicious and so so easy! Check out this post for the full recipe.

In our world...

We're into the last week of Summer here in NZ, and the weather is starting to get a bit cooler. So I'm making the most of every morsel of sunshine! I'm sure those of you in the northern hemisphere are looking forward to Spring.

This week in the studio, I've been working on a bunch of new stitch sampler patterns. Think rainbows, gardening vibes and flowers. The beginner stitch sampler we recently released as a kit has gone pretty nuts, so I'm working hard to add some more stitch sampler options for you all.

I've also been updating some of our most popular advanced patterns, so that these can be turned into kits with all our beautiful new threads and fabrics, etc. There's always so much going on behind the scenes, and it's a lot of fun!

Have a great week, everyone!
