Last Soccer Game

 It is amazing the difference a year makes. Last year Ben was running off the field screaming and being carried up and down the field by his coach. This year he is a force. He occasionally will full on tackle somebody to get the ball. So maybe football or rugby will be in his future.

 Soccer wouldn't be the same without his best buddy Brynner. Their uniforms are still gigantic on them!

 Ben is a sweater. He gets hot. Really hot.

Shirts become oppresive at some point.

 "What coach? We can't play shirts and skins?"

 Half time snacks are serious business.

 Won't he stay this size forever? How cute is he with his band aided knee and huge soccer shorts.

 Meet Cole. The best cheerleader ever. He cheers SO loud for Ben the whole game. I do have to hold him back however. He is ready to take the field with the big kids.

Thunder

 There was a HUGE thunderstorm today. It was crazy and SO loud. Or so we thought . . .

 It was actually Camp Williams (the army base) firing on their range. They were testing some really big, really loud guns. I thought it was a big weird that there was SO much thunder, but there were storm clouds in the sky. The news told me that night that we were wrong.

 But the boys had fun listening to it!

Chalk Boys

 Ben loves to draw on my door mat with sidewalk chalk because it makes "smoke." I think it just makes a big mess. But I guess that just makes me the mom.

 He loves being 4. I hate that he is getting SO big.

 This is Cole's "cheese" face. He thinks he is SO funny.

 They will hate me for this kissy shot someday. But I love it so. It's proof that they can be sweet.
