EMBROIDERY PUNCH NEEDLE WEAVING Hey, it's Julie here, Woo hoo! It's a brand new month, and that means lots of new and exciting news to share with you. Let's dive into it! I am so excited to introduce to you our new pattern for March - Floral Rainbow Sampler!  This pattern is a wonderful way to practice and showcase a whole bunch of floral stitch techniques. It features some of our beginner techniques (e.g. French Knots, Woven Roses etc), as well as some new and exciting techniques which you may not have tried before (e.g. Bullion Knots and Thread Bundle Flowers). So for Confident Makers +, this is a great opportunity to learn and practice your techniques. Or, if you are already confident with these techniques, this pattern can be a way for you to showcase how far you've come!  We of course have a pattern kit for this, which includes: the printed pattern guide, fabric, threads and beech wooden display hoop. Floral Rainbow Sampler Pattern Kit Buy Now On the Blog... Learn Thread Bundle Flowers This beautiful technique is featured in our new Floral Rainbow Sampler pattern, and is so fun to make! If you haven't learnt this technique before, then you are in for a real treat.  Thread Bundle Flowers are a great way to add some texture and height to your embroidery designs, and are more simple to make than they look. You can whip these up quite quickly once you get the hang of the technique, so that's another reason why I love using these in our patterns.  If you are after a new challenge, or simply want to stitch up our new pattern, then you can find an easy to follow tutorial here on our blog. We are sooo in love with this levelled up version of our 'Bee Happy' design by our lovely member Nicole, we just had to share it! 😍 She said: "Finished my second Bee Happy pattern…this time I added in woven roses, bullion knot flowers, whipped backstitch, stem stitch, satin stitch flowers and leaves, and fishbone stitch. It was so fun, and I love how it turned out!"  What's inspiring me on the creative front... If you haven't seen the beautiful embroidery work by Tatum of @threadedbytatum, I highly recommend you go and check it out! Tatum's style is all about beautiful, floral designs in lovely muted tones. Something fun... I came across this TikTok video the other day, by Kevin Parry and I just had to share it with you all as it blew my mind! He specialises in visual effects, and his best ones are featured in this video. I thought it was sooo cool to watch, especially when he turns into a banana! You can check out the video here. This week I've been diving deep into my mindset. I have been devouring a bunch of podcasts including from Mel Robbins (@melrobbins), Kathrin Zenkina (@manifestationababe) and Tracy Harris (@mumswithhustle). I have known for ages that I need to do some work on self-talk, money mindset and kicking my 'going live' anxiety to the curb. So I'm going deep my friends, and it is already feeling so good! I will definitely share more about this when I'm ready. But in the meantime, if you have any people that you love to follow, who help with creating a positive, stress-free mindset, please do hit reply and share with me!  Here at Clever Poppy HQ, I've been working on our April pattern, which is going to be a really cool landscape style. I am SO excited to share more, but the sneak peek below will have to suffice for now!  In the meantime, I'm super excited that our Floral Rainbow Sampler pattern has launched, woo hoo! By now I will have done a live lesson teaching Bullion Knots in our membership…eeek they are so challenging, so I hope the stitching gods were on my side as I taught this complex technique. But hey, it's another example of progress over perfection, and if you're anything like me, this technique will be a work in progress.
