The last week has flown by, with the school routine back into swing. Plus, a family gathering in the mix to celebrate my mum's 70th birthday. My mum is the most kind, caring, fun and generous person you could meet, so we made sure to shower her with love for this amazing milestone! I asked some of her grandkids what they loved about her the most – homemade treats like pikelets and ice blocks featured a lot, haha. I'm sure many of the nanas out there can relate to how a way to a kid's heart is through their tummy!
On the work front, we're thrilled to release the first of our new 'Stick and Stitch' packs this week. These are such a wonderful way to dive into embroidering onto clothing and accessories. I'm sure they'll be a hit, and it's going to be fun seeing the unique creations our customers stitch up. I'm also getting a lot of requests for Easter themed designs, so it's with pleasure that we released our Sunny Bunny design as a beginner kit today! Stay tuned for another Easter design in the next week or so too...
I'll be spending this week focused on finalising The Glasshouse pattern for members and working up some new designs (think some more stitch samplers, a bicycle and a new floral alphabet). Designing patterns, choosing the colours and stitching them up is my fav part of the job, so I'll be enjoying every minute.
Have a great week, everyone! |
