I often have people asking me "how long should my stitch be?" So I'm going to address this topic in this video guide. This video is perfect for anyone who's early on in their embroidery journey or has picked embroidery up after a bit of a break. GO TO THE VIDEO What have our makers been up to?  Wow, this Bee Happy pattern by member Emma is so vibrant and fun!   She says, "Finished the Bee Happy pattern this week. I really love the hydrangeas in this pattern."   We hope this pattern brings her so much joy!  What's inspiring me on the creative front... I think these jackets, dresses, and rompers by talented Kelsey of @ropedropdesign are just so lovely! Kelsey creates custom designs and clothing for her clothing drops from vintage sleeping bags and bedsheets. She describes herself as a theme park girl making bedsheet clothes, and she clearly has a special place in her heart for Disney and all those iconic childhood movie characters! An easy and romantic watch I normally try to watch shows that pack a bit more punch than a romcom, but I wanted something light-hearted to watch and decided to try One Day. I've got to say it totally hooked me in and had a really beautiful storyline. The two main characters had amazing chemistry and I couldn't stop watching once I started. So if anyone is looking for something easy to watch, then I'd say give this a go. You can find this show on Netflix. In our world... Can you believe we're already into March? That means the start of Autumn here in NZ, and I'm sure those in the northern hemisphere are welcoming the arrival of Spring!   Change of season always brings bugs, so Piper and I have been laying low over the last week. Being stuck at home is actually quite entertaining with Piper, who has the most amazing imagination for pretend play. I found myself dressed up as a pirate, bouncing around the sofas and having very 'posh' tea parties on the deck. We also got her an e-reader that allows us to borrow books from the library. My goodness, what a game changer, as she can spend hours reading all her fav books.
