I made Easter basket liners for my great-niece and great-nephews. They were very excited to have things with their names on them since their names are so unique." We are sure they loved them. I mean how could you not? 😍  What's inspiring me on the creative front... @befernandezart truly is the queen of colour! How incredible is this pop art acrylic painting of flowers being lit on fire? Be is a self-taught visual artist based in Madrid. She specialises in acrylic paintings, digital illustrations, graphic illustrations, and murals. She has worked for brands such as Netflix, Adidas, and Vogue and is currently working as a professor at the New York University in Madrid. Scroll her insta for more incredible designs. Thrilling true crime podcast Our social media gal Lauren recently discovered Season 1 of Serial. This is an oldie but a goodie, so if you haven't watched it yet then you totally should! The podcast follows the case of Adnan Syed, a man who has been committed and spent 20 years in jail for the murder of his ex-girlfriend when he was in high school. This podcast follows the journalist who is trying to uncover what really happened that day, in a case that just doesn't add up. Episode 13 was added in 2022 when the Baltimore City State's Attorney's office vacated Adnan's conviction. In our world... We've had our heads down at home over the last week, getting chores and admin done after our big boating adventure away. Ah, not exciting at all, but such is life! On the Clever Poppy front, I've been designing a new pattern for our members next month. It involves a duck, layered fabric and bubbles of water – sounds intriguing? I'll post a sneak peek below. I was also a busy bee shooting the video experience for our new Boot-iful Bees pattern, which launched a couple of days ago. I really love pouring loads of info and positivity into my instructions and tutorials. And for those of you who loved our workshops, you get a similar video experience with all of our beginner kits now! Our Stitch Sampler is a great place to start – and you can team it up with another pattern to dive into once you've learnt the ropes.
