Makers Academy Spotlight

This week, Makers Academy member Michelle added her own special touches to our Super Mom design.

She shared:

"My mum was not only a super mum, but also my best friend. She was always up for a cup of tea and chat, loved florals, and tablecloths.

In her memory, I created this piece using appliqué to form the cup, and I placed it on one of her tablecloths. (I have so many tucked away in a cupboard, so it felt right to give one a new purpose.) Now I have a meaningful piece of work that reminds me of her every day."

In Our World

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! We've had a lovely time with family, featuring lots of chocolate, noise, games, wild weather and fun, ha!

On the creative front, I've been whipping out my tote bag each evening and stitching some cute florals and bees on it. I washed off the embroidery stickers last night, and I am soooooo happy with how it's turned out! Which means we're another step closer to releasing this kit...
