Say hello to one of my all-time favorite stitches, the lazy daisy (also known as the detached chain stitch). This technique involves forming loops on your fabric, with each loop anchored in place by a small stitch.

Once you get the hang of it, you'll find it's a relatively quick and easy way to create petals and leaves, and other decorative shapes.

This week I've been fully immersed in stitching our video tutorials for the upcoming Floral Mandala pattern. Take a peek below for a little sneak preview! It's such a beautifully detailed design - I've got a feeling it's going to be a crowd favourite. I really hope it brings you all some calm, relaxing stitching time. Pure bliss!

On another note, I've been testing samples of some gorgeous new blanks - think tote bags, pencil cases, and pillowcases. It's definitely a slow process turning fresh ideas into full kits, but it's so worth it to create products that feel luxe and are a dream to stitch on. Stay tuned for more updates!

Meanwhile, Bess has been busy too - this week she's stitched up an adorable new design with a fun road trip theme. Plus we're working on some gardening themed wash-away embroidery stickers.
