Well now's your time to try one!   With hair embroidery, you can create realistic hairstyles such as French Braids and 'up-do's' to elevate any pattern.   In this blog, we will be focusing on one of my favourite embroidered hairstyles, a french braid. This is such a gorgeous intricate hairstyle to create for long hair! GO TO BLOG New member pattern: Hydrangea Heart We've just released the first of our monthly member patterns of the year, and it's 'Hydrangea Heart' by the talented Aly Ploof! This Confident Maker + pattern is bursting with floral details. Wouldn't this make the most amazing Valentine's day present? Learn more about our membership and join the waitlist here.  What have our Makers been up to? Felicity created this special piece, where she personalised one of our wreath patterns for a teacher's gift. Doesn't her stitching look so incredible? My favourite are the woven roses, they have so much lovely volume and texture!  I bet this was so gratefully received Felicity! What's inspiring me on the creative front... Psych yourself up to go back to work with this hilarious 'Panic at the Desk-o' embroidery pattern by @theartfulpossum's. Happy new year to you all!! I hope you had a wonderful festive season, and are ready to embrace all the awesome things this new year will bring.   As I write this, I'm away boating with our family -  it's a stunning day, and all sorts of water and beach activities are lined up for the afternoon. How lucky are we?! It's very relaxing, although I can't say I have achieved much stitching yet…maybe later this week. I hope so! In the meantime I'm slowly working on stitching up The Gardening Bee with our new threads (more on that later).   On the Clever Poppy front, I have been blown away by all the love and excitement for our new guest pattern by Aly Ploof. Lots of our members are diving right into stitching it up, and we can't wait to see examples of it popping up by our makers.   Have a great week everyone!   No longer want to receive these emails?
