These socks are long enough and don't shrink. The lip on the back is perfectly placed so that they don't slip into your shoe. The thickness is perfect for a little cushion without being clunky. Embroidered Clothing Examples

"Help - I love all the patterns, but tell me, what else can I do with the projects other than finish them in a hoop..???"

I get asked this question all the time, and I totally get it!

Because while it's lovely to frame your creations in a hoop, sometimes you want to try something a bit different.

So my best suggestion, is to stitch your creation onto clothing and/or accessories!

It is SO rewarding, being able to show off your stitching on things like clothes, bags, towels, pencil cases etc. And when it comes to Christmas time, you can even embellish your stockings, tableware and Santa sacks with personalised stitching – how fun!

Check out these awesome examples by a bunch of our customers – and just imagine what you could make yourself!

You might be thinking 'Ok this sounds great Julie, but how does this work – like do I need to use stabilisers, can I wash these items and how do I secure my threads so it doesn't all fall apart?'.

And you don't have to worry, because I have shared all about my tips and learnings on this topic over here on my blog 'A Beginner's Guide for Embroidery onto Clothing'.

So while I recognise that it can be a bit more challenging to stitch onto things like clothing or accessories (compared to plain fabric in a hoop), I really do hold your hand along the way. You've got this!!

Right, so if you're feeling inspired, then the best place to start with this type of embroidery, is with one of these 2 kits:

Happy Designs for Clothing Pattern Kit

Festive Motifs Pattern Kit

Both kits come with a printed pattern guide (each has at least 11 little designs to choose from), a curated bundle of threads, and 2 pieces of water soluble stabiliser.

So that way, you can mix and match whichever designs you like, and stitch them onto whatever you choose. It's a great way to upcycle items of clothing, or personalise gifts to make them more special.

And lucky for you - both of these kits are included in our super bundle deal sale that we're running right now!
