Embroidered Clothing Examples

"Help - I love all the patterns, but tell me, what else can I do with the projects other than finish them in a hoop..???"

I get asked this question all the time, and I totally get it!

Because while it's lovely to frame your creations in a hoop, sometimes you want to try something a bit different.

So my best suggestion, is to stitch your creation onto clothing and/or accessories!

It is SO rewarding, being able to show off your stitching on things like clothes, bags, towels, pencil cases etc. And when it comes to Christmas time, you can even embellish your stockings, tableware and Santa sacks with personalised stitching – how fun!

You might be thinking 'Ok this sounds great Julie, but how does this work – like do I need to use stabilisers, can I wash these items and how do I secure my threads so it doesn't all fall apart?'.

So while I recognise that it can be a bit more challenging to stitch onto things like clothing or accessories (compared to plain fabric in a hoop), I really do hold your hand along the way. You've got this!!
