Hey it's Amy here, Gosh I can't believe we are half-way through the year already, I feel like the start of the year just flew by! As I write this, Julie and Matt are having a long weekend away with the kids, so I am holding down the fort here at Clever Poppy HQ. It's been fun helping Julie decide on pattern design concepts over the last couple of weeks, and testing out new patterns. One of my favorites to stitch has been next month's Owl pattern, which I started over the weekend (the gloomy and cold weather was perfect for stitching!). I just love the abstractness of the Long and Short stitch, and how it all blends together so well. The colours really 'pop' against the dark fabric too. I bet you are all going to love stitching it just as much as I have! On the shop side of things, I have been busy replenishing stock and sending kits over to the U.S, and am super excited that our Hedgehog kit is now in stock and ready to purchase for both US and Australia/NZ customers. This one is next on my list to stitch, I thought it would be a perfect addition for a little girl's room, and I have a friend in mind whose birthday is coming up.
