What have our Makers been up to?

We are always sooo thrilled when members share about their progress, and just how far they have come. This beautiful version of our 'Floral Rainbow Sampler' pattern was shared by our lovely member Jamie, who was super proud of her skills learnt so far.

She said: "Just finished my second confident maker pattern and I'm so proud! I picked this pattern because it's adorable but also I really wanted to try all these new stitches and it was a lot of fun! Now I just need to remove my pen lines and get it in a wooden hoop!"

What's inspiring me on the creative front...

How incredibly beautiful and majestic is this embroidered barn owl brooch by talented artist Paulina Bart (@paulina.bart)? All of her designs are based around birds (she calls it 'Embirdery'), and a lot of her art is either embroidery or beautiful paintings of birds. She also creates these super unique embroidered brooches which are so detailed and realistic - this owl is one of my favorites. Something helpful...

If you love granola for breakfast but can't justify spending lots on it, here is a great recipe from @ginalianutrition you can try at home! This was too good not too share and is sooo moreish and simple to make, you won't want to go back to buying store bought cereals! Check out more of her delicious recipes here.

In our world...

We're into the second week of our school hols, and it's been a really awesome time so far! We've been doing the usual things like pools, movies at home, pizza dinners and backyard sports. The kids really don't need fancy stuff to have fun, and love hanging out with their cousins. And I'm so lucky to get QT in with my fam.

I've totally managed to squeeze in some stitching around the holiday fun. I've refined my floral photo frame project to suit a 3" photo, and I'm currently stitching up a really cute glasshouse idea. I love having freedom to test ideas, and thanks for the feedback on topics too! Here's a sneak pic of my stitching over the last week.

Matt and Amy are doing a stellar job as usual at Clever Poppy HQ, and I see them helping lots of you with questions and orders etc. Just let us know if there is anything you need, so we can get you sorted!
